September 1944: the Germans left Villeneuve but a group of militiamen still holds hostages in the school. While the Headmaster Jules Bériot, arrives to try to secure the surrender of the militiamen, resisters are divided on what will happen to them. Between desire for justice and revenge, the Liberation looks tense.
September 1944: After the surrender of the militiamen and the impossibility of transporting them to their trial to Besancon, Bériot decides to start a court martial in Villeneuve school. He asks Antoine and Suzanne accompany Anselme as judges, while Edmond is appointed Daniel Larcher prosecutor and defense lawyer.
